Bio: Maria Donovan is an association management specialist with over 15 years' experience in association governance, membership development, education programs, professional certifications and conferences and events management. With a strong focus on relationship-building, high-quality member service and creating member value, Maria has successfully provided executive leadership and operational oversight to advance the mission and strategic goals of several associations. Her experience includes serving as Executive Director, Associate Director, and Director of Membership for professional organizations and trade associations in the human resources, finance, landscape and construction industries. As a Director of Meetings and Expositions for several associations, Maria has produced several high-quality conferences and exhibitions and is experienced with conference registration, sponsorships, marketing, site selection, and professional production. Maria earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Bonaventure University in New York. Outside of work, Maria enjoys cooking, yoga and photography. An avid baseball and Baltimore Orioles fan, she has visited 16 MLB ballparks, with a goal to visit all 30.
